Devils Reef

Myself and a friend visited This place last weekend and both of us really enjoyed everything about this place. Atmosphere was perfect service was kind and prices for a downtown bar were very competitive. Only reason 4 stars is I didn't eat but we are meeting again this weekend so I may update. Last note I live on Phinney Ridge in Seattle and it was worth the 35 miles. Came back had chicken nachos and upgraded to 5 stars

If you're in the area of Tacoma, Washington, definitely stop by Devil's Reef. It's on my list of one of the better tiki bars around the country. The look of the bar is pleasing to the eye. Upon entry, you lose yourself to the escapism created by the interior. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. Fresh ingredients are prepared in-house, and the bartenders are several steps above the average. The drinks are well balanced and delicious. Food items are offered and make a proper meal, plus they pair well with the cocktails. Definitely stop by this spot and enjoy great ambiance, good people as well as food and drink. It does not disappoint. Tiki peeps, you'll definitely want to make this a destination. However, all will enjoy!

This was a nice find. It is hidden. I had to ask a passer by my first visit. On Opera Alley, go into the Press Rooms entrance and make a left.The atmosphere is amazing. They have cosy little hut type structures as well as bar seating and tables with chairs.To order, you scan the menu with your QR code. Once you decide, order at the bar, then they bring everything to you. You can pay as you go or open a tab.Staff are very friendly and pleasant. I have had the tacos and the chicken quesadilla. Both were good. Drinks are strong, but tasty.Even if you don't have to go, check out the restroom area. It's pretty cool!

My partner and I go here every chance we get and introduce everyone who visits us to this place. The atmosphere is amazing, the drinks don’t hold back (gotta do the three oaths!), the nachos with pork are delectable and the prices are great. I can’t ask for more!

I've been to several tiki bars all across the country, but this one might just be the best! Every single time I go there, the drinks are immaculate and I have a great time. All hail the Devil's Reef!

For sure the best tiki bar in Tacoma. Giving you the best escapist experience outside of the weather of the PNW. It does get crowded and you have to be prepared to either wait or make a reservation, but they will text you when a spot opens up.

I absolutely love this venue. They have the best rum drinks around. Were they lack in the quality of food they make up for in the quality of their drinks. Not saying the food isn't good at all infact I've never eaten something here that I didn't like.But the drinks are top notch. Very fun atmosphere. Also it can be nice and intimate with your date.

I absolutely loved the theme of this bar/lounge! It was dark with lots of ambient lights. There was so many drinks to choose from. We ordered the nachos expecting a small portion but nope there was a lot! They were really good!
